Privacy Policy

Published in English; for the key points in Hindi, write to us (section 7).

Effective date: 1 September 2026

1. Who we are

Pramaan Health (“Pramaan”, “we”) is a doctor-led men's health program operated in India by M/s Epione Ventures, a partnership firm based in Delhi, India — the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). This policy covers the Pramaan app and our public self-assessment.

2. What we collect

We never ask for government IDs such as Aadhaar or PAN. The app uses only essential cookies; the public self-assessment loads analytics or marketing pixels only with your explicit consent, and no such tool ever receives your health answers.

3. Why we use it

To deliver your assessment results, connect you with a registered doctor, run your care-team chat, fulfil and track orders, send reminders (worded so they never reveal the nature of your program), keep legally required records, and keep the app secure. We never sell your data and never use it beyond the purposes you consented to.

4. Consent & withdrawing it

We process your data on the basis of your consent, asked for before we collect health information and before we message you on WhatsApp. Withdraw any time — reply STOP on WhatsApp, turn off notifications, or write to us (section 7). Withdrawal stops further processing for that purpose but does not undo processing already done or the legal retention in section 8.

5. Who we share it with

Only as needed to run the service: your treating doctor and our care, pharmacy, lab and logistics partners (couriers get only name, address and phone — never health details); Supabase (database, Mumbai ap-south-1 region, India); Wati / WhatsApp (OTPs and reminders); Razorpay (payments); Vercel (hosting); Google Firebase (push notifications). Each processor is bound by contract to protect your data and use it only for the service. No advertisers, no selling. Data is stored in India; some processors run global infrastructure (e.g. WhatsApp, Firebase), covered by contract and permitted under section 16 of the DPDP Act.

6. Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

You can access your data (download a full copy from Settings → Account & privacy → Download my data), correct it in the app or via your care team, erase it (section 8), raise a grievance (section 7), and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. If we do not resolve your concern, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Grievances & contact

For any question, consent withdrawal or complaint about your personal data, write to our Grievance Officer at pramaanhealth@gmail.com, or message our care team on WhatsApp at +91-87966-49957. We aim to respond to every request within 30 days.

8. Deleting your account & retention

Delete any time from Settings → Account & privacy → Delete my account, or without logging in at /delete-account (works with just your mobile number, including for pre-signup assessment answers). After a 14-day grace period during which you can change your mind, your personal and health data is permanently deleted or anonymised. Two legally required exceptions are kept in de-identified form: tax invoices, for the period Indian tax law requires (currently up to 8 financial years), and the medical records your doctor must keep under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, currently 3 years. Otherwise we keep data only as long as its purpose requires.

9. Adults only & changes

Pramaan is for adults 18+ only; we check your date of birth and refuse anyone younger, and we do not knowingly hold data of anyone under 18. We may update this policy — the effective date above always reflects the current version, and we will tell you in the app about significant changes.
